I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team General Re

Yes, I'm going bald for a cause. On March 16th, I am supporting the St. Baldrick's foundation by having my head shaved. This foundation raises millions of funds each year for childhood cancer research and grants. We all take some things for granted- be it our health, our jobs, our relationships, our financial stability. When you are faced with an incurable illness, a silent suffering such as cancer- you face overwhelming change. You lose control and are at the mercy of a ruthless, biological aggressor. No off switch, pause button or left lane to pass. No down payment, no payoff. Everything changes. The work that the selfless medical field does in researching all kinds of illness is amazing. We all hope that some day the cure will be found, and that these children, these adults can endure stronger lives. I am not a survivor, nor do I have cancer in my immediate family. I support this cause because I love what they do. I love my curly hair and will miss it! Family and friends are surprised yet supportive. This is a challenge to me and for you to support this cause. Thanks so much. Love, Gianni Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
