I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Be The Movement

This is my first year doing the St. Baldrick's event. When I was asked if I wanted to let my hair grow out for almost two months I was a bit skeptical. I hate when my hair gets long and wasn't really interested until I was told it was for childhood cancer. It's causes like this that make me think that there are sacrifices that we can make like not shaving our heads that will make all the difference to someone who cannot grow hair on their head.
With a little bit of money raised and a nice picture of an adult getting their head shaved, someone's day, someone's year, someone's life can forever be changed. I don't know how anyone could pass that up.
Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Any amount, large or small helps. Every single thing, every bit of medical equipment, every meal costs money--but we can help even the tide.
