I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Donna's Good Things

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Donna's Good Things

I'm shaving my head- yes, all 27 inches of curly brown hair- to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is EXTREMELY underfunded. I was first inspired a few years ago by Sheila Quirke's soul-baring story about the short and beautiful life of her sweet daughter Donna on her blog Mary Tyler Moore, and then this year in the face of so much uncertainty and fear in our state and country I finally have decided to brave the shave in my small personal efforts to keep helping my community in any ways that I can. In this case, I decided to do something by raising money for cures!!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
