I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Darien Fire Department

Hi guys! This is my second year of doing St.Baldricks and I am proud to be doing it again in 2019! I got involved with St. Baldrick's when a close friend of mine, Payson, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Last year, I was the top fundraising participant in my town and one of the top 50 fundraisers in America.  Last year,  I raised $12,844.55! This year, I hope to raise just as much, if not more!  Thank you and I hope to have your support along the road to put an end of childhood cancer!

Did you know that childhood cancer is different than adult cancer?   It is extremely underfunded and we need to solve this problem. Every two minutes, a child somewhere in the world is diagnosed with cancer. In the U.S., one in five won’t survive. We can’t accept this. What will YOU do to help put an end to childhood cancer?

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
