I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

In January 2004, when I was 6 months old, doctors found tumours in my brain.  My parents had to take me from our home in Bermuda to Boston for treatment  where I had an incredible team of doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I went through a few rounds of chemo so I didn’t have much hair when I was little (if you look at my pictures you'll see that I made best of it!) but I did beat my illness!

Now I'm 14 years old and I decided to shave my head for kids with cancer who are going through what I went through.  I have lots of hair that I'd like to share!

Even though I don't have to have treatment anymore, I do still have a tumour in my brain.  There are lots of children like me which makes research for better cures even more important.  The St. Baldrick’s Foundation has done amazing work to raise money for cancer research and I decided to help so that one day no child will have cancer.

My family, friends, and doctors made up my amazing team when I was sick.  Now I hope that you'll kindly make a donation and be a part of my giving-back team!
