I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: McMullan's Irish Pub

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: McMullan's Irish Pub

I will be shaving my head on March 5, 2016 at McMullan's Irish Pub in Las Vegas in an effort to help fund childhood cancer research.  This will be my five-year anniversary as a St. Baldrick's shavee and supporter since my first head shaving in 2011.
I will be dedicating my participation in this event to my father, Gary Bates, who passed away after complications with oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma on July 11, 2014, and Natalie Loren, a Pajiban warrior who lost her battle to cervical cancer (aka, "Homer") on March 23, 2014.
According to the National Cancer Institute, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease past infancy among children in the United States.  It was estimated in 2014 that nearly 16,000 children and adolescents age 0 to 19 years old would be diagnosed and nearly 2,000 would pass away from the disease.
We can work together to fight and contain this disease.  Please make a donation to sponsor me (and my hair!), so that all children may have a better chance for a cure -- and a future.  To make a donation, please click the "Donate" button to the right of my user picture.
St. Baldrick's rates an 89.17/100 on Charity Navigator.
Thank you for all of your support!
