I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Heads of Product Ops

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

With my bald head, I’ll stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer while raising money for life-saving research. This cause has become very important to me and there are two special people who give me my inspiration to fight for this cause. 1. My niece, Jocelyn, was diagnosed with a form of children’s leukemia 9 years ago and after many treatments is in remission. She is a true inspiration to me and everyone who is around her. She is a beautiful 19 year old young lady and is living the dream of going to college and striving towards the next stages of her life. 2. My daughter is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade and just means the world to me. Well, one of her classmates (Lynette) was not so fortunate as Jocelyn and lost her battle to Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) after a five year battle. She was a sweet, courageous little girl who’s contagious smile touched many people’s hearts and I would like to honor her in my challenge against children’s cancer. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
