I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Hector Rodriguez and I will be participating in Saint Baldricks for my last year here at SHS. I’ve had very important people in my life deal with my cancer. Eight years ago, my favorite and amazing aunt got diagnosed with Stage II Breast cancer. With years of recovery, she’s now happier than ever. Another lady in my life, one I love with all my heart, was once too diagnosed with cancer her sophomore year. Thankfully, she was able to get through it. Cancer affects more people than you think and it’s important to let all people, with and without cancer, know that we will stand by them, no matter what. It’s a cause I believe in and one I believe everyone can help support. Even sharing with friends, family, members in your community can help support this great cause. Update: Thank you guys so much for the goal reach! It would be amazing we could hit the next milestone of $500.
