I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BCOFD

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

13 years ago, I started shaving to show suport for 2 wonerful people as their daughter had been diagnosed. That same year my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and was going to loose her hair due to traetments. I said me too, as I am going to shave my head for Ally. Then 2 years ago my granddaughter Addellah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphblastic Lukemia (ALL), which fought hard for 22 months before she succomed to her illness. So for me no this fight has gotten personal, I don't want to see any family, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters go through what we dealt with as a family.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
