I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Caucus

I'm excited and humbled to participate in my 7th fundraiser with St. Baldrick's. I started this journey in Las Vegas on a whim, but funding cancer research has been important to me since we lost my mother-in-law to cancer in 2012. While my mother-in-law, Leah (my daughter's namesake), was being treated for chemotherapy, she looked out the window of Winship Cancer Institute at Emory, which overlooks Emory's Children Center, and remarked, "if they can do this, I can do this."

Wyatt Pope, a neighborhood hero battling a rare form of childhood cancer, was one of those kids who put up the fight. Sadly, in April 2022, we lost Wyatt (#WyWyStrong), and I am honoring him again this year, but the fight isn't over. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever.

St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.

Can you help? Thank you so much!
