I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bad Wolf

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. A little over a year ago, I was informed that my younger sister had been diagnosed with cancer, and was already under-going treatment (being in college seems to cause information to travel from home to school very slowly for some reason). While she is doing well today, this was a wake up call for me. I had never personally known someone with cancer that wasn't already in the later years of their life, and it was a very emotional realization that no one is "too young" to get cancer. Before then, I had always thought of cancer as something that develops over a very long time, usually from poor life-style decisions (smoking, tanning, etc.), but I've since learned of many cases of cancer in children, and infants, some of whom have yet to celebrate a single birthday. I wish to do everything in my power to help fight against cancer, because I believe it is something no family should have to endure. Your help and support is very much appreciated.
