I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Craig Rienhardt Crusaders

Hello everyone. Thank-you for reading my page and participating in St. Baldricks fundraising. My little brother, Craig was diagnosed in the beginning of December 2010 with a rare and "incurable" cancer called gastric adenocarcinoma. There is very little research done on this horrible disease and so far there is "no cure". Craig was a junior at West Genesee High school. He liked playing soccer, basketball and listening to music. Watching SU basketball and the NBA was one of his favorite pastimes. He often rattled off the players’ names, numbers and their stats while watching basketball. He often lost me in a conversation because he was talking way over my head in sports and music. I'll never understand how he was able to obtain all that information! He enjoyed doing outdoor activities such as snowboarding and lawn work!! He loved mowing the lawn, and didn't like it when someone else mowed the lawn uneven! When Craig wasn't working outside he was at the gym with his two best buds, Austin and Pete. He was very motivated (and successful) on building those muscles! He was a kind person and a friend to all. Never had a negative action/though towards anyone. If I had to describe my brother in three words it would be: ambitious, chivalrous, and amiable. On January 12, 2011 Craig lost his courageous battle at home with his family by his side. He was so brave though out his whole battle. I love you so much Craig and I can't wait to see you again. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
