I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thanks to everyone who helped me reach my initial goal of $1500 raised for childhood cancer research!

PLEASE  HELP  ME  RAISE  OVER  AND  ABOVE in these final days!

As promised, I am now preparing to not only trim off this  "epic" beard later this week but indeed to actually shave for the first time in 8 years.  Ugghhh, I'm not looking forward to this, but it will be a worthwhile sacrifice.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. St. Baldrick's is an organization that has won my respect in recent years, mindful not to fund research on embryonic stem cells. So please, give a little bit in support of their efforts to find cures and to relieve suffering among these children.

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
