I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Charlie, although must of you probably know me as Chuck with VeeJay Cement. Although my wife and I are fortunate enough to not have been personally touched with chidhood cancer, we cannot deny that this is a cause worth fighting for. When my wife was working as a nurse at Cardinal Glennon, I came to vist her and noticed many nurses and doctors all sporting shaved heads. Curious, i asked her about it, and she began to tell me about the St. Baldrick's foundation. I was awe struck at the compassion of these caregivers. I have been wanting to participate in this event for a long time, and I am finally able to do it. I will be shaving my head in solidarity of this exceptional cause on May 16th 2010, at Pujols 5 in Westport Plaza. Th event begins at 12pm. . Anyone is welcome to come cheer me on! Please donate whatever you can to this cause. Every child and their family deserves a chance to fight for their lfie. Thank you for your time and consideration in the matter. Sincerely, Charlie and Johanna Vitale
