I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Most people know my passion with oncology nursing. It's something I've put my body on the line for numerous times. This event is no different. Compared to what these children go through daily, shaving my head is menial. They are the true heroes and fighters! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. In fact, shortly after posting a message on Facebook about this event, I received a message from a high school friend about her 15 month old nephew who is currently undergoing treatment. Check out my photo gallery to see the mini-warrior!
St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. By asking for your support, I'm really asking you to support these fighting kids. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. THANK YOU!!!
PS... pictures and likely videos will follow! :o)
