I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Everyone!

I am back, bushy haired as ever to once again ask for your support of St. Baldrick’s Foundation and their effort to rid the world of Pediatric Cancer. This is my 11th year of putting my luscious locks on the clipping block and do what I can to help fight for these children.

When I started this journey, I was blessed that my boys, and the others in my family, had gone cancer free and were able to do and participate in all the things that kids do. I celebrated those blessings by doing St. Baldrick’s. Since then cancer has touched a child in my family. I have a great-niece, Kaydence, who fought cancer TWICE and won! Yet another blessing and yet another reason to keep on keeping on. In addition to family, I also have friends who have had children with cancer and are fighting hard. It pains me to think that both child and parent are going through these battles when they would much rather be at a baseball or soccer game. These kids have to fight so hard and so long. I feel words like Tumor, Radiation, Chemotherapy, Neoblast-a-whachamacallit should not be in the vocabulary of these children.

So, please join me in the fight. I’ll pass $20,000 for a grand total this year and I’m pretty proud of that. My goal is $2500 which I have only passed once in a given year but I’m determined to do it again in 2019. I need your help of course. Click the green DONATE button on this page and if you would, share this with a friend or 10… or 20!

God Bless.
