I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that childhood cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
All your donations will go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research. Since 2005, the organization has raised more than $258 million in research grant funding.
Several friends from high school will join me in "braving the shave" to raise awareness for this incredibly important cause. This is the first time we have participated in St. Baldrick’s since high school. I’ve attached a few pictures from that event. And yes, that is former NFL defensive end Justin Tuck shaving my head.
This year, we are dedicating our efforts to the legacy of Blaise Davis. Blaise recently passed away after a battle with secondary-AML, an aggressive form of Leukemia, brought on from the chemo he received for his Ewing’s Sarcoma. You can read more about Blaise and his story at the link down below.
Now I need your help! Would you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
