I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Caroline

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

Dear Guardian Angel:

Thank you for watching over me and my family and for blessing me with two beautiful, healthy children so that I will never have to suffer the pain of parents less fortunate than I. Though I am lucky enough to have two children thus untouched by cancer, my life has still been touched. Most of those I know have, sadly, lost their battle with cancer, but not before they were able to live a nice long life first. For those who did not have that chance, I am very sorry, and I hate to see that there are still too many in the world unable to live out their lives as intended. In hopes that I will never have the misfortune of being a parent whose child has been diagnosed with cancer, and in support of those who do have the misfortune, I will donate my time and hair to help raise money for this cause and hope that there are many others out there that would do the same for me if I ever became so unlucky. It does not take a large donation, it simply takes a LOT of people willing to do a LITTLE good in the world. If everyone on my Facebook friends list donated $5, I could have $2,155.00 raised to help conquer kids' cancer! A little bit can go a LONG way when EVERYONE's willing to help out! :)
