I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I do not have children of my own yet, so i can't imagine how devestating it would be to find out they had cancer. But I can say that if it was one of my nieces or nephews who I look at like they are my kids, there is nothing in this world I wouldn't do to make them better. People think I am crazy for even thinking about wanting to shave my head. I am making a choice that seems pretty minescuel when you compare it to a child that has no choice about getting cancer. And they aren't shaving their head, their hair is falling out in clumps. When you think of it that way, me shaving my head seems like the smallest of a gesture of support I can make. Afterall, my hair will grow back....
