I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.

So, one of the original reasons for me doing this fundraiser ever since a head shaving event at University of Rochester in 09 on a dare, and then got a lot of amazing feedback (especially from someone I had a big ol crush on); however, I do know what it is like to grow up in a household with a child affected by sickness. I implore you to donate to this organization and as a bonus I promise to shave my head, and will chip in an extra $100 if I meet my goal.

I know there are a lot of fundraisers out there that raise monies for a good cause. No amount is too little, and if you already have a charity you like and trust, go for it and I appreciate it greatly.

If you are nearby the Washington, DC region when you receive this note, and you would like to come watch the spectacle, come on down to Boundary Stone off of Rhode Island Avenue and have a few beers with me. Then go home and tell someone you love them.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
