I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
In March of 2008, my father was diagnosed with kidney cancer that had metastasized to his lungs and has since gone to his brain. At the time he was only given six months to live. While it hasn't been a smooth ride he has hung in there and is still fighting three years later.
Having seen the pain this disease has caused him and our family, I can't imagine how a child could live with it. I hope that whatever donations I can get will help researchers get on top of this so that no one has to suffer like my dad has.
Please consider donating whatever you can. No amount is too small. I promise to post pictures of my newly-shaven size 7 1/2 head Tuesday!
