I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: City of West Allis

Dear Friends, Family and Coworkers, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. You’ve heard it right, I’ve thrown my hair in to the ring to have my head shaved March 24th, 2011 in support of kids that have fought and continue to fight the brave battle of cancer. Please spread the word and tell your friends, families and coworkers about this inspiring organization. You might be asking yourself why would I do this? Well, the answer (or question really) is quite simple. How can I not? The reasons to do so are countless but there are two that jump out at me. My two healthy, strong kids, Anneliese and Connor. I sometimes forget to be grateful that they are, and have always been so. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
