3/4/19 - With offline donations, we're really close to the original $1100 goal, and Angela hasn't donated yet, so I'll try introducing a new incentive to see if I can entice some more donations. I'm conceding the beard, as I know we'll make it to 1100.
New goal - $1500 and 12 additional donations of any size from people I know in/from Connecticut, and I'll keep my head and face shaved until I get to CT on April 3 to watch the Women's Final Four with my dad.
PS. Anyone in the Denver area, our time slot is 6:45 PM on the 15th - we're the last group.

I got tired of jumping into freezing lakes, so this year I've decided to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! As you can see, my hair is quite long - I'll be cutting a donation to another charity before the shaving. If I reach my goal of $1000, I'll also shave my beard, which I've only done once since roughly 1991. In fact, my wife of 11 years, Angela, has never seen my bare face. Hopefully this won't be a mistake.
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
