I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: RVT Nerds

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

This year I’m shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!


I have done this twice before: in college in 2014, and again in 2019. Each time I participated it was an incredibly fun, incredibly meaningful event. The first time I shaved, I had a specific child I wanted to honor, but this now I simply do it for all children who suffer from cancer. 


Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers, and childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need to ask you lovely people for your help! St. Baldrick's Foundation is the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants. Each shaved head, every dollar donated, created a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer. Will you please make a donation? Together we are making a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
