I am taking on this event to fight back against cancer. One of my friends passed away when she was 8 years old due to cancer and I want to prevent this from happening to others. I created this event to raise money for cancer research and to spread awareness about this cause. Having my school participate in this makes me so happy and I am glad I could bring this event to my community.
Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?
At our event, some will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting research to find cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers.
Why?
Because cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids.
This is why I’m teaming up with St. Baldrick’s – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – in their 25th year.
Your donation can help ensure that the next 25 years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of these brave children.
Thank you for your donation!
