I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
St. Baldricks has become an important annual tradition for me. This year will be my 6th in a row and every year my enthusiasm to participate gets stronger. I can't imagine anything tougher than finding out a child you love has cancer. Through my participation last year I learned that my sister in laws cousin has a little girl who is battling Leukemia. She is still undergoing treatment and responding well. I'll be honoring her again this year with my participation. I look forward to the day when cures are found and this event is no longer needed, until that day I'll be there every year doing what I can to help.
I've been blessed with a wonderful family and a healthy little girl. I try to never take that for granted and I feel honored to be able to help raise money for children battling serious illness. In addition to allowing me to help raise money for a wonderful cause, it's an annual reminder to me of what is truly important in life. I appreciate your support in helping me make this year the most successful yet!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
