I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team General Re

As most of you are aware, each March, a number of participates step up to the plate on St. Baldrick's Day and shave their heads to raise money and awareness for cancer research. This year on March 16, I am stepping up for the second time. As a wife, nurse, and care giver of three, I will shave my head for all children, that special someone in need of a cure from cancer or that person who lost their battle to this disease. However, I would specifically like to honor a special person (Jeanne Leins) who I was not previleged to have meet, however, it was how she handled her life during this time that has impacted me. It was obvious to those around her that as she began her transition it was about her children that remained her first priority. She left this world with a standard for life that was just impressing and her main focus her children.... I am hopeful my participation will further promote awareness for cancer research and help raise money. Please - support this worthy cause. You can direct your contributions through my personal page at: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/acocce Also, remember that Gen Re will match your donation if it exceeds $50. We all can make a difference in providing a chance for a cure.....
