I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Babcock Rule

It's that time again!! If you're seeing this post: it means you know me. Family? schoolmate? coworker? sports fan? event leader? fundraiser? socializer? And, if you know me, you know that I only reach out when I absolutely believe in the cause I am supporting.

So PROUD of my 12 years supporting St Baldrick's with the O'Neills team. At the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, they do one thing, and they do it well: They fund childhood cancer research. About 60% of all funding for drug development in adult cancers comes from pharmaceutical companies. For kids? Almost none, because childhood cancer drugs are not profitable. That's where we come in - with head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government!

"She shaves her head???" you ask? Um... no, I don't. But I am one of the dedicated treasurers/volunteers/supporters/cat wranglers who ensure that the event runs smoothly for those who do and I am just as passionate about our fundraising goals as the Shavees are - just with a bit less breeze blowing on me at the end of the day ;)

Your gift to this amazing foundation will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
