I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UTMB MS1

I first shaved my head in 2022 at UT Austin after being inspired by the children I met on the oncology and hematology wards at Dell Children’s Hospital. Seeing their strength firsthand, I wanted to show my solidarity and do my part to support pediatric cancer research.

After my shave, I quickly realized the impact went beyond the hospital walls. Strangers would approach me in public, sharing their own stories or stories of loved ones affected by childhood cancer. These conversations were deeply moving and reinforced my commitment to this cause. That experience ultimately led me to where I am today—bringing Brave the Shave to the John Sealy School of Medicine in Galveston!

Now, more than ever, we have the opportunity to make a difference. Whether through shaving, donating, or simply spreading awareness, every contribution counts. Your support means the world to these kids and their families. Let’s work together to fund research and move closer to a cure for childhood cancer!
