I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This year I have fought for my health, and to regain control of my life! My story so far has a happy ending, Cancer did not win! My life changed forever after hearing those words, words I didn't share with many. You have Cancer. At 39, they almost destroyed me, I dug deep and made my choices about how I was going to handle my cancer. On November 12th, after only four months and a surgery, I got my clean bill of health. So to celebrate my good fortune I will be doing a 24hr endurance event Worlds Toughest Mudder and shaving my head! It's time to give back! As an educator I love children, and the idea that they have to go through what I went through and even more is heart wrenching! I have lost one to many friends to this "evil" join me, help me raise money for need research for Cancer!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
