I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

Folks, thanks for looking at this page.  Many of you know that I have been a staunch supporter of the St. Baldrick's Foundation since my very first shavee experience in Tinley Park, IL in 2004.  There haven't been any live shavings anywhere near me since the world shutdown in 2020.  It is, then, fitting that I should discover Team Lindsey, and a live event less than three hours away from us.  Read the information on the honored kids pages here.  You will understand not only why I am doing this, and asking for your financial support, but you'll also understand why Lindsey and Brianna and Dimitri and so many of these other youngster have touched my heart.


Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.  My cousin Danny Pritzlaf didn't get to experience a normal childhood, cancer took him at five, in the early 1960's.  I will be honoring him as well on Saturday the 18th.  Please open your hearts and your wallets. 

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
