I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I am a German Nanny, for 2 Wonderful Fortunately Healthy Boys, living in Naperville,IL. Working with Kids is my passion and I do it for now almost 18 years. I have a Degree in Nursing, Preschool/Kindergarten Teacher and Professional Nanny (all from Germany) ! I am called to do this, be cause of my dad (residing in Germany). In June 2014 he was diagnosed with a Tumor on the Esophagus. He went through Cancer Treatment and an Operation. Fortunately I am able to say he is now in remission for over a year. But it also could have gone the other way. Though its Adult hood cancer, I want to do this and help.
