I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team_OConnellz

One of my coworkers' daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Over the years, we'd talk about the challenges they faced as a family. As Nadine fought her battles, I found out that another coworker had lost her son Gary to cancer many years earlier. Cancer always affects more than the patient, but when it's your child, your brother or sister, it is your world. My son and I started shaving our heads, simply because, as wise kindergarten aged Sean said, "It helps people, and that's just the right thing to do." 


I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
