I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Warcock

I'm so excited about being a shavee this year!! It's something I've thought about doing for a long time and over the past year it has been at the forefront of my mind. As a mother of two, I am so thankful to have healthy thriving children - however it's a mothers burden to know at any minute that could change without warning. While we have come so far in our medical advances, the harsh reality is that cancer still kills. No parent should ever have to feel so desolate and helpless wondering if their child will be one of the ones that lives or dies, and it is my goal to raise money to further the efforts of science and doctors who are trying to make curing ALL childhood cancers a reality.

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
