I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alumni of St. John's

I am shaving my head to support pediatric cancer research!

I heard of St. Baldrick's over 10 years ago, when I used to live in Syracuse, New York. There was an annual gathering at a local bar, but I didn't know anyone that was a part of it. So, it was in the back of my mind, but I never went for it.

Years later, I learned a St. John's alum was a cofounder during the President's Dinner. It was kismet. The story of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, and all of the money and good it has brought about to help find cures and safer treaments for childhood cancers. This year mark's their 25th anniversary. So after a bit of a hiatus, Alumni Relations team is bringing this amazing event back in full force.

Thank you for your donation! If you want to get involved as a shavee, fundraiser, or day-of volunteer, please reach out to me at torsneyr@stjohns.edu.

Side note: I am competing to raise more money than my husband, Patrick! If you know us both, and don't want to choose you can donate to us both! :) Or donate our son, Orion's, page! This is going to be a family affair. (Also, open to suggestions on what the winner gets as a prize! hah)
