I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

9 1/2 years ago, I joined 70-something other colleagues in shaving our heads to raise money for this important organization, at a convention, on a livestream. 8 years ago, I shaved again. And 6 years ago, in a Gaga pit. Next month, I’m doing it again.

Some people run marathons. That is not my skill set, so, I shave my head.

There is so much wrong with the world right now. And I entirely appreciate that there are way too many organizations and causes that need our help right now,  I’m hoping you’ll include this as a way to give even if you only give a small amount—the small donations (including those that are under $5) add up. And I appreciate the support.

St Baldrick’s (not actually a saint, nor is it at all Christian) is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

The money given goes directly to funding research.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
