I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team CKCKC

Hi, my name is Nora Roth, and I am in 5th grade. This year, I am running CKCKC. Some of you may be wondering what CKCKC is. The letters stand for Chiaravalle Kids Conquer Kids' Cancer.

Every year for the past 3 years, we have had an event in the hub where kids, adults, staff, and anyone else who wants to can shave their heads or donate their ponytails. You may be wondering why we do that. We do this for an organization called St. Baldrick's. We raise awareness and research money to help kids who are struggling with cancer.

There are many ways for YOU to be involved. You can help by:

   (1) Shaving your head or donating your hair.

   (2) Coming to the event on January 26 from 1:00-4:00 to cheer on your friends.

   (3) You can talk to me or my dad (Jake) to volunteer to help out.

I decided to step up and do this event because I have seen what it looks like when an adult has cancer, and I can't imagine what it would be like if me or my friend had cancer. So, I hope you will join me and make a difference for kids all around the world.

Will you make a donation right now?
