I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team David

The first time I participated in this great event, I was just supporting a very worthwhile cause. Now, it is personal. Cancer has struck one of the students at my school. David Brooks is a 5th grader that loves NC State, playing with Legos, and spending time with family and friends. However, as of December 2009 David is tackling ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and is receiving treatment at UNC's NC Children's Hospital while he recovers from a stroke which caused the paralysis of one side of his body. Please join me in supporting David and other children that have been effected by this dreadful disease by contributing to this great organization that funds cutting edge research to improve the quality of life for patients and survivors.
