I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team CKCKC

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

There are so many reasons; where do I even begin?

First, when I was around 3 1/2 years old, over a decade ago,  a tumor was found in my little brother. Some people were against the surgery he needed, saying the tumor was probably benign. It wasn't. He got surgery & made a full recovery. But so many kids, along with their parents, siblings, and friends, don't get that. There's your first reason.

The second reason is I loved my hair (before shaving as the event has passed). It made me feel so beautiful. So many other kids deserve to feel that way, which is why I donated my hair two years in a row to make wigs for them. They deserve to feel pretty too!

While that's just two reasons, other people have so many more reasons they choose to shave and/or donate their hair.

Make cancer a thing of the past! Donate now!
