Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s?
Kids need to live. As a father, I would do anything for my kid to smile and live his life to the fullest. I could never imagine my kid being forced to be as brave and a strong as these other kids are being forced to be. I figure if I’m fortunate, why can’t I help others who are not? I grew my hair out only to donate it for this cause. If kids are going through something so terrible and are still smiling can they at least have the little things like a head of hair? Aside from donating my hair I will also be shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s to help raise money to some day find a stop to this. Please join me in helping. Your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
