I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Mar 19, 2022 • 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I donate because the ones on the receiving side didn't have a choice. Nobody chooses cancer. We can help each other fight it by raising funds to research cures and treatments, shaving our heads to raise awareness and show solidarity, and by donating hair to support those in need.

Times are particularly difficult, which is all the more reason to aid others if you are able.

This year also marks a special occasion for me, as it is the 3rd time I'll be donating my hair for the campaign and marks the 10 year anniversary of the first time I donated.

With that in mind, what better way than to (virtually) participate in the same event I did back in 2012 with a new goal of raising $2022 to

Help Kids Fight Cancer

My hair will be donated to Wigs for Kids through one of their affiliated salons in Pensacola, FL.

Thank you to everyone that has been a part of these campaigns with me.
