I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Camden Strong

My brother Camden was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2024. He has a very rare and aggressive cancer called Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. He has a tumor in his right orbit (his eye). Thankfully, we caught the cancer early and he can still see.

Since November, my brother stopped going to school. He has been fighting daily to beat this horrible disease. Over the course of 25 weeks, he will complete more than 20 rounds of chemotherapy, 28 sessions of radiation, weekly blood draws, multiple rounds of testing and scans, and he will undergo three different procedures. He has been rushed to the ER too many times and hospitalized for multiple weeks. It was so lonely without him. While he was at the hospital, he received several blood and platelet transfusions that have helped save his life. He has been on and off steroids and antibiotics for months, leading to long days and sleepless nights. Camden has been transferred via ambulance at least five times, and he has been poked and prodded more times than you can imagine. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve felt scared, but had to be brave and strong for my brother. He is not done yet, but I am so proud of him for fighting until he is cancer-free.

Did you know cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids? This is why I’m teaming up with St. Baldrick’s – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – in their 25th year. We are raising money to help ensure that the next 25 years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of kids like me.

Because of foundations like St. Baldricks, there is a cure for my brother’s kind of cancer. The money donated to the St. Baldricks foundation helps to support research for cures for all kinds of Childhood cancers, but especially the rare ones like Camden’s. Knowing that other kids have beat this and live healthy lives has provided hope for children and families LIKE ME facing this horrible fight.

I am hoping to raise $2,500 for St. Baldricks to represent their 25th year. Will you help me reach my goal?

Together, we are all #CamdenStrong.

Thank you for your donation!
