I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Awesome

In November 2010, my sweet Josh was diagnosed with leukemia.  At that time, the thought of three and a half years of chemotherapy was scary, and seemed unending.  Thankfully, Josh has completed his treatment with minimal side effects and is now playing football cancer-free for the first time in four years.   While we are celebrating the beginning of Josh's new life, we are also mourning the loss of a young life.  Pete, who was born only seven days after Joshie lost his battle after seven years and five relapses.  Pete only had four cancer-free years in his entire life.  That's just wrong.  Pete was a beautiful child with an amazing soul, and the world has dimmed a bit since his passing.  Pediatric cancer research is underfunded.  Without more funding, more kids like Pete will be lost.  I will not be satisfied until a cure has been found.Hair grows back.  Kids don't.  Please be a lifesaver!
