I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Portland Timbers

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Portland Timbers

I'm shaving my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. My hair is over 18" in length and will be donated to be made into hairpieces for children. Please support me in this endeavor with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. I will be stationed at the Locks of Love booth assisting donors with their hair contributions on the day of the event. Locks of Love is a non-profit that helps provide hair pieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering hair loss from alopecia, chemo, etc... Just bring the hair, fill out a form with me, and we'll ship it. Ten inches or more is ideal for donations, however shorter hair is sold by Locks of Love to help offset their costs. No dreads or bleached hair please. As a Portland Timbers fan and employee, I am very excited and honored to be a part of this experience. Please help me make the most of it by donating or sharing this link with your friends and family.

Check out this Timbers Army article to see why some people are choosing to do this... http://timbersarmy.org/portland-timbers-and-ta-team-up-to-fight-cancer
I'm in there too!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
