I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Justin and the Ninja Crew

Yes it's true, I am flying to Denver to be a shavee (bye-bye hair) to raise money to help find a cure for childhood cancers. I am honored to be part of Justin Miller's team. Justin just found out last week that he is facing another relapse of Neuroblastoma-- this is his 6th time facing this terrible monster since his diagnosis in September 2006. He is an amazing fighter who never gives up. Over the past year, I have learned a lot about childhood cancers: the suffering they cause, the lack of therapies for children and the inexplicable LACK OF FUNDING for childhood cancer research and trials. Along the way I have met so many amazing warriors and followed their journeys online. So please, don't look away simply because it's too sad to look at or you think it could never happen to your child. 7 children die every day from childhood cancers. It is the #1 killer of children in the U.S. I humbly ask for your generous support and that you join me on my journey. Thank you. ***One last note, a very special young man, Vinny DiGerolamo, age 9, earned his angel wings last night (2/18/13). His five year battle against Rhabdomyosarcoma was unlike anything most of us will face in an entire lifetime. Love and prayers to his amazing family.
