I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Greetings from Bloomington! The Indiana University Evans Scholars chapter house is conducting the first St. Baldrick’s Event at IU on April 26th, 2013. I have taken initiative to participate along with the rest of my house, and In doing so, I have set a goal of $1,000 and was hoping you would help me reach this goal. I would greatly appreciate if you forwarded my page to anybody who may be interested in donating to this cause. With head-shaving pledges and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation raises money to fund cancer research specifically targeting childhood cancer. For our particular event, we elected to sponsor a four year-old boy from Fishers, IN. He was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Currently, his treatment is taking place at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Any donations are greatly appreciated both by me and the foundation as a whole. Thank you in advance for helping me reach my goal.
