I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why, you might ask?

For the love of children of course!! They are our future!!!

How is it fair or right that someone so small, sweet and fragile has to go through anything so harsh and unforgiving? How is it fair that the families of these babies have to endure the pain and devastation of that diagnosis...

CANCER...

Cancer has touched me in many ways - from a young age when my grandfather was diagnosed, to my later teen years finding out that a little girl I had babysat was diagnosed, through adulthood where friends and coworkers, and coworkers family members are being diagnosed...We all know someone who has been affected in one way or another at one time or another, whether it be you yourself, a loved one, someone young or someone old... regardless of age it hurts and is hard for everyone.

The more research and studies that are able to be funded, the more medications and treatments are created and tested which betters the chances of finding a cure.

I want to be part of a solution. I want to help support something I believe in. I want help stop the pain and hurt. We all do!! Come show your support for me in my goal, and everyone's overall goal of helping to find a cure!

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
