In 2006 when we were 6 years old my twin brother Ben was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. In 2007 my father and I shaved our heads at a St Baldrick's event while Ben was getting chemotherapy in a nearby hospital. We went back to the hospital and surprised him. He smiled and laughed. Throughout his treatments I loved making him laugh. The thing about St Baldrick's that he liked the most was the feeling of solidarity with all the people. In 2009 Ben died because of the osteosarcoma. My father and I have shaved our heads every year in honor of Ben.
Please donate and help us fund research. Ben wanted to fund research someday.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
