I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Melting Pot for Cancer

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Melting Pot for Cancer

Cancer sucks.

The only thing worse than cancer is... kiddos with cancer. The shame is that it’s also extremely underfunded.

Last year I watched Milt and Carson (this year will be Carson’s 7th year...and he is 12) shave their heads.

I was so moved by the stories of loss, survival, hope, and Irish F*&^ this spirit (meaning let’s actually do something)...That I almost shaved my head on the spot.

Milt stopped me. Crazy because he loves charity.

What he said then was that I could raise a lot of money if I took some time to prepare and reach out to all of my awesome friends and family.

He was right...I know...a rare thing.

What I didn’t know was that he also had a plan.

Last year we didn’t live together...but he had a good feeling about us and his plan was falling into place.

A plan he just revealed to me...

Turns out he has been collecting my hair balls since May.

Now you have two choices...

1. Donate to an awesome charity so he has a year or so of an unclogged drain.

Or

2. He is mailing unmarked packages of hair balls to all my friends and family.

Apparently he has close to 3 five gallon buckets...so get out those credit cards and let’s kick cancer...or well...stay away from your mailbox.
