I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team #MEMORIES

Over the past 6 years you all have donated $39,292 to this great organization through my fundraising page. Even more amazing is the total of $83,292 that my friends have raised through our head shaving teams. This year Team CANCER SUCKS! has been renamed to TEAM #MEMORIES in honor of our friend Chris Pennewell who lost a battle with cancer a couple years ago. He taught me how important life is and how important it is to make memories for yourself and for others. Let's help these kids to fight cancer and grow up to make memories for themselves and their families!

We all have family and friends who have fought this nasty disease. We all have family and friends who have lost the fight. We need to help them fight! As most of you know my Dad, Dan Ingster Sr., was an amazing person and the most important person in my life. He passed away November 21, 2011 from a form of cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma. 25 years prior my Grandmother, Lynne Ingster, passed away from cancer as well. My Dad was such a caring person that he usually took care of others before himself. He was very proud of me for shaving my head the first time for St. Baldrick's 6 years ago and I know that he would want me to do anything I can to support this great organization.

The main goal of St. Baldrick's is to raise money for children with cancer to help them live better lives and to help find a cure. Millions of dollars are put into cancer research each year but unfortunately only a small percentage of it goes into fighting childhood cancer. After seeing what cancer does to a person I can't imagine the strength of these kids who fight to live and hope to be cured so that they can live full lives. All donations to St. Baldrick's go to supporting these kids and fighting childhood cancer. Let's honor and help all of these amazing, brave kids and do what we can to help find a cure.
